Our crowdfunding campaign is now LIVE: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/wemakechange
As I write this, we are just a few hours away from the launch of our campaign that really could change the world.
Beginning on Tuesday 5th September, the International Day of Charity, we are embarking on a crowdfunding campaign so we can launch the world’s first social network to create global social change.
But how do you launch a campaign that could change the world?
As a generation we have so often felt helpless when faced with the world’s problems. We feel we have something we can give to help solve them, but we just don’t know what we can do to make it happen.
The social network we’re developing will ensure that nobody faces that problem again. By enabling anyone to connect with and support the charities fighting for the causes they care about, We Make Change will enable you to change the world in just three clicks.
As the most connected generation ever, we have the skills, resources and will to change the world. This is our moment to make it happen.
That’s why on 5th September members of the We Make Change Team will be doing just that. We will be launching our campaign with our own ‘Day of Change’ – 24 hours of volunteering, fundraising and campaigning.
From fundraising to fight cancer to campaigning to save the panda, coding to protect street children to feeding those in need, it will be a day where we say, ‘We’ve had enough. We’re not going to complain. We’re going to act.’
That’s because we are the first generation that can end extreme poverty and the last that can address climate change. We can’t wait for the world’s problems to be solved.
That’s why we’re not waiting; we’re building the social network to make it happen.
